Good afternoon everyone! I am so happy with our team's effort today against a formidable team in Crosspointe! The final score was Fair Oaks - 201.5, Crosspointe - 218.5. Crosspointe Head Coach and former UMW college teammate of mine, Noah Carpenter, shared a great moment with me at the end of the meet. He reminded me of the times when we were competing in college and how defeat makes teams and coaches respond. That being said, I am SO READY to get back in on Monday and kick some butt! 

There were 63 best times out of 113 swims, one of which being a new team record! Congratulations to Donna Kwon (DK) for breaking the 15-18 Girls 50 meter freestyle record, with a time of 28.23! This was a record that was held by Gillian Crews for 14 years, previously standing at a mark of 28.33. What a remarkable moment for her and our team to experience this morning! I can't wait to see the pictures of our celebration :)
